Project Introduction

50-ton low height pancake hydraulic cylinders used in auger boring steerable rock system.Steerable head designed for boring through sand or soft rock with real-time steering adjustments made out of the pit with a hydraulic control system.

The Steerable Rock System (SRS) is the auger boring market’s first steerable head designed to navigate not only solid rock but difficult fractured rock conditions as well. Engineered to operate in rock up to 25,000 psi, the SRS allows operators to keep bores online and grade even in the toughest ground conditions for an on-grade bore. On the drilling head, there is peace’s of small round pipe, that’s where the cylinders sit. There are 4 pcs 50-ton pancake hydraulic cylinders on each side(top, bottom, right, and left) of the steerable head for a total of 16pcs, it works when it’s drilling horizontally underground we use the cylinders to navigate the drilling head.

How do you bleed air out of a hydraulic hand pump

You bought a new hand pump but found that the hand pump does not suction oil when it is working. Even if you press the handle of the hand pump repeatedly, the hand pump starts to suction oil, and the oil intake is much less than normal. Please don’t worry, this is because there is a shortage of oil inside the fuel tank of the manual pump and it has not been used for a long time, and air has entered the inside of the plunger of the manual pump. At this time, we need to bleed the air inside the plunger, and the manual hydraulic pump can work normally. Let’s take a RIVERLAKE P-462 two-speed hydraulic hand pump as an example, in order to completely expel the air inside the hand hydraulic pump plunger, please follow the steps below: 1. Fill the manual pump oil tank with hydraulic oil, connect the manual pump, hydraulic hose, and hydraulic cylinder 2. Turn the air release valve clockwise to open the air release valve 3. Rotate counterclockwise to loosen the air release screw of the plunger, turn on the manual position valve of the manual pump, and press the handle repeatedly to discharge the air inside
Wind Turbine Guide: introduction, installation, and maintenance

Wind Turbine Guide: introduction, installation, and maintenance

WHAT IS A WIND TURBINE AND HOW DOES IT WORK? A wind turbine is a device that converts kinetic energy from the wind into electrical energy. The most common type of wind turbine uses a rotor to capture the wind’s kinetic energy and turn it into rotational energy. This rotational energy is then converted into electrical energy by a generator. Wind turbines have been around for centuries, but have only recently become popular as people have looked for ways to reduce their reliance on fossil fuels. Turbines can be used to generate power for homes and businesses, and can also be connected to the electrical grid. While there are some concerns about the impact of turbines on the environment, they are a much cleaner alternative to traditional power sources. HISTORY OF WIND TURBINES The history of wind turbines is a long and varied one. The first wind turbines were built by the Egyptians in the 3rd century BC. These early turbines were used to power sailboats. In the 18th century, Dutch windmills were used to pump water out of mines. In the early 20th century, wind turbines began to be used to generate electricity. Today, wind turbines are
How To Remove Bearings For Replacement

How To Remove Bearings For Replacement

Regardless of the type of bearing or the conditions under which it operates, all bearings eventually wear out and have to be replaced. Nowadays, the two most common ways to remove an old bearing are either to use a bearing puller to remove the bearing or use a bearing heater to disassemble the bearing. We will talk about both the advantage and disadvantages of the two ways. Bearing Removal With A Bearing Puller When using a bearing puller to remove the bearing, the price is particularly cheaper, but its disadvantage is that it may scratch the shaft if carefully operated. Because of the difference in mechanical mechanism and driven power, pullers can be divided into hydraulic pullers and mechanical pullers, two-jaw pullers, and three-jaw pullers. Before disassembling the bearing, choose a suitable type of puller from the puller manufacturer with sufficient capacity to finish the task. Bearing Removal With The Bearing Heater Heating bearings is a good way to temporarily expand the bearing rings to facilitate mounting or disassemble without the use of excessive force that could damage bearings. Major manufacturers of the bearing puller around the globe 1.Taizhou Chuanhu Hydraulic Machinery Co., LTD The company was set up in 2005. It is presently the foremost manufacturer of hydraulic
how to clean rust off the hydraulic cylinder

how to clean rust off the hydraulic cylinder

Rust is a common problem that can affect hydraulic cylinders. The corrosion caused by rust can lead to pitting and other damage to the cylinder, which can cause it to fail. In order to avoid this, it is important to take steps to prevent rust from forming in the first place. Why does rust form on hydraulic cylinders There are several reasons why rust can form on a cylinder. One reason is that the cylinder is not properly sealed. If dirt, moisture, or other contaminants get inside the cylinder, they can cause rust to form. Another reason why rust can form on a cylinder is because of the material that it is made out of. Some materials are more prone to rust than others(learn more about the materials used in cylinder production here). And finally, the way that the cylinder is used can also contribute to rust formation. The various ways that rust can be removed from a cylinder Rust can be very difficult to remove and often requires the use of special tools and chemicals. There are several methods that can be used to remove rust from a cylinder head. One common method is to use a wire brush to scrub off
