Combining the spreading wedgehead with a 10,000 psi (700 bar) manual hydraulic pump in a single compact unit, this tool delivers 14.5 tons of spreading force with an 81 mm maximum opening distance – requiring only a 6 mm initial gap to begin operation.

Integrated Hydraulic Power – No External Connections: The built-in hydraulic pump eliminates the need for separate pumps, hoses, or couplings. Simply position the wedgehead, operate the integrated pump handle, and watch the flange gap open smoothly and precisely. Powerful & Controlled Spreading Performance: With 14.5 tons of force, the SW14.5TI handles stubborn, corroded, or seized flanges with ease. The hydraulic system provides measurable, gradual force application, preventing sudden movements that could damage gasket surfaces or injure operators. A built-in release valve allows controlled retraction when the job is complete.
Safe Operation: The tool is engineered with operator safety as a priority. A safety block is included to mechanically lock the opened gap, allowing technicians to work between flange faces without continuous hydraulic pressure.
