The RIVERLAKE SG18TESTD and SG25TESTD Series are heavy-duty hydraulic secure-grip in-line flange spreader sets designed specifically for larger-sized flanges where conventional spreaders cannot gain access. Using proven expanding collet technology, these tools lock directly into the flange bolt holes—eliminating the need for an initial gap between flange faces and providing safe, controlled spreading force even on seized or corroded joints.

Designed for Large-Diameter Flanges: The SG18TESTD and SG25TESTD Series are engineered to accommodate larger flange bolt holes, with a working range spanning from 59.5 mm to 108 mm. This makes them ideal for high-pressure pipelines, heavy industrial flanges, and large-bore applications commonly found in petrochemical plants, power generation facilities, offshore platforms, and refineries.
Secure Bolt-Hole Locking Mechanism: The unique expanding collet inserts into the bolt hole and mechanically grips the inner wall, providing a secure, slip-free anchor point. This in-line design applies hydraulic force directly through the bolt hole axis for efficient, controlled flange separation without damaging bolt threads or gasket surfaces.
External Hand Pump Actuation: The spreader set is actuated by an external hand pump (manual hydraulic pump), allowing operators to apply measurable, controlled spreading force from a safe distance. The pump connection uses standard high-pressure quick couplings for fast setup. This configuration provides high force output while keeping the tool head compact for confined spaces.
Time-Saving & Simple Operation: No pre-existing gap is required. Insert the collet into the bolt hole, lock the mechanism, and operate the hand pump to spread the flanges gradually. The set includes all necessary components: spreader head, hydraulic hose, hand pump, and carrying case for organized transport and storage.
Virtually Universal Compatibility: Suitable for a wide range of flange standards including ANSI, DIN, ASME, API, and BS flanges with bolt hole diameters between 59.5 mm and 108 mm.
