Unlike conventional spreaders that require a pre-existing gap between flange faces, the SG Series locks directly into the flange bolt holes—making it ideal for corroded, seized, or tightly compressed joints where no initial gap exists.

Virtually Universal Compatibility: The SG Series is designed to work on all flange types, including ANSI, DIN, SPO, ASME, API, and BS standards. The range covers bolt-hole sizes from 17.5 mm to 62.0 mm, accommodating a wide variety of pipe flanges across petrochemical, power generation, offshore, and industrial plants.
Unique Expanding Collet Technology: The tool inserts into the bolt hole and securely locks in place using a mechanical expanding collet mechanism. This provides a reliable, slip-free anchor point from which controlled hydraulic spreading force is applied—eliminating the need for prying, wedging, or hammering.
Little or No Access Gap Required: Because the SG Series works through the bolt holes rather than between flange faces, it can be used even when flanges are fully compressed or seized together. This capability significantly reduces preparation time and avoids damage to gasket surfaces.
Secure Bolt-Hole Locking Mechanism: Once inserted, the collet expands to firmly grip the inner wall of the bolt hole, ensuring that the spreader remains securely attached throughout the operation. The design prevents accidental release, enhancing operator safety.
Measurable, Controlled Spreading Force: Hydraulic operation provides smooth, measurable force to separate the flanges gradually and precisely. Operators can control the gap opening without sudden movements, reducing the risk of injury or flange damage.
