Ultimate Image Guide: The Manufacturing process of Hydraulic Cylinders.
Hydraulic cylinders are widely used in engineering machinery, machine tool equipment, automobile manufacturing, metallurgy and mining, aerospace and other fields. So, how are hydraulic cylinders produced? 1. Preliminary preparation 1.1 Design Hydraulic components and sealing components have different requirements in terms of dimensional tolerance, surface roughness, shape and position tolerance, etc. Therefore, the geometric accuracy of each component must be ensured and the correct seal must be selected during design. 1.2 Steel material selection: Commonly used steels are #20 steel, #45 steel, and 40Cr. The hardness of the steel is different, the applicable working conditions are different, and the price is also different, so comprehensive consideration is required. 2.The Production Processing 2.1 Cylinder body Generally, seamless steel pipes without bending or deformation are selected. In order to ensure its good toughness and plasticity, it needs to go through a series of processing. Cut the steel pipe into required length. Threads are machined on the inner walls of both ends of the steel pipe. Drill oil holes at appropriate locations and weld oil pipes. During the production of hydraulic cylinders, many processes such as cylinder barrels and piston rods require welding. High-precision welding machines can ensure welding quality. Customer Visit RIVERLAKE for Hydraulic Cylinder Quality Inspection
Project Manager Mr. Igor from our customer in The Czech Republic came to the RIVERLAKE factory workshop for quality inspection of 96 units of 150-ton CLRG series double-acting hydraulic cylinders. Detail tests were carried out to measure the cylinder dimensions, inner and external cylinder appearance, and static and dynamic load testing on a test bench. Everything went smoothly and both parties signed an acceptance protocol.

North-South Commuter Railway Extension Project 1569 Ton Pile Load Testing
Project Images Project Introduction The North-South Commuter Railway, also known as the Clark–Calamba Railway, is a 147-kilometer urban rail transit system under construction on the island of Luzon, Philippines, primarily in the Greater Manila Area. The project will utilize the Japanese railway system that uses energy-efficient and reliable trains. RIVERLAKE supplied a pile load testing system consisting of 2 units of 1000-ton hydraulic cylinders and 1 unit PLC-controlled electric hydraulic power unit. The system will perform pile load testing work up to 1569 tons in the NSCR Extension Project. RIVERLAKE PLC controlled hydraulic jacking system is designed for pile load tests up to 2000 tons where the load is to be applied in different stages and displayed accurately in real-time. The plc pile load test jacking system provides 6 default tonnage options, user can preset the loading tonnage and holding period of time for each option. During pile load test operation, the whole process is run automatically, just select one of the preset tonnages and press the auto-run button. the hydraulic jack will raise to its full stroke, upon reaching the preset load, the jacking system will stop automatically and hold the pressure for the preset period of time.
